Meta-learning is the Future

As an educator & mentor forming a partnership with a learner, I commit to:

• readily adapt to individual learning style(s)

• keep attention by highlighting how personal interests relate to the material

• ultimately encourage and foster knowledge acquisition by showing each learner how to visually ‘see’ the interconnections between academic domains (e.g. chemistry and art or literature and physics) - these are the ‘creative connections’ which lead to epic understanding

My goal for each learner is to foster proficiency in pattern recognition as a whole, i.e. being able to easily identify patterns in systems, both locally and broadly within each discipline, which can help in all areas of life

The intent behind this goal is to captivate learners as they dive into the universal principles at play - knowledge and insight I can share, with which they can apply to their academic and future professional careers
